Everything happens in one persistent scene. The 3D view, floor plan, saved options and AR all read the same room, so nothing you change gets lost between views.

    Capture

    Scan with LiDAR, import a RoomPlan file, or type in width and depth. You review the walls, doors and openings before anything is saved.

    Keep

    Mark the pieces you’re holding on to. Kept furniture can’t be moved or replaced by accident and never counts toward your new-furniture budget.

  3. 03

    Arrange

    Drag furniture directly, rotate in 15° steps, duplicate, swap finishes and paint each wall. Every change can be undone.

  4. 04

    Compare

    Save named options and compare layouts, costs and open comments side by side. Then place a piece in AR at its real size.

A generated image can’t be edited. Mimesis keeps a real model with real measurements, and every tool works on that model.

Scope

Measured, not imagined.

Mimesis tells you what it knows and what it’s estimating. Here’s where the current version draws the line.

  • PricesCatalog pieces and prices are illustrative, in USD, and exclude tax and shipping.
  • FitChecks use conservative footprints. Door swings and walking clearance aren’t checked yet.
  • ARPlaces one piece at a time on a detected floor. It doesn’t erase or replace your real furniture.
  • IdeasThree curated palettes that respect kept pieces. There are no AI-generated layouts yet.
  • ScansNeeds a LiDAR iPhone or iPad. Curved walls are reported as unsupported instead of being squared off.
